This page explains how to request deletion of the data that heyteo AG ("we", "us") processes in connection with our WhatsApp Business integration.

 

What data this covers

 Our application connects to the WhatsApp Business Platform using Meta's whatsapp_business_management permission. When you connect your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) to our service, we may store:

  • Your WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID) and associated phone number ID(s)

  • Message templates and phone-number metadata we read or manage on your behalf

  • The business access token issued to us for managing your WABA assets (stored encrypted)

  • The email address and business/onboarding details you provided when connecting

 We do not store the content of WhatsApp messages exchanged with your customers through this permission.

 

How to request deletion

 To request deletion of the data listed above, send an email to chris.einsele@heyteo.com with:

  1. The subject line: "WhatsApp Data Deletion Request"

  2. The email address you used to connect your account, and 3. Your WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID), if you know it.

 This lets us locate and verify the records associated with you.

 

What happens next

  • We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days.

  • We will delete or irreversibly anonymise the associated data — including the stored access token and account details — within 30 days of verifying your request.

  • We will revoke our application's access to your WhatsApp Business Account as part of this process.

  • We will send you a confirmation once deletion is complete.

 Note: we may retain a limited subset of data where required by law (for example, for tax, accounting, or legal-compliance purposes), and only for as long as legally required. Any such data is otherwise inaccessible for operational use.
